Hyperion

HYPERION is the step after Azimuth. It is the speargun for Mediterranean and tropical big game hunting when even more range than Azimuth is required, while maintaining the maneuverability and precision required for difficult prey. To achieve this ambitious goal, HYPERION benefits from the inverted mechanism of the IKAN, and is optimized for an 8mm shaft which improves range and precision, with 4 rubber bands of 14mm.

Its effective range exceeds that of Azimuth by almost 1m, offering an excellent combination of precision, range and maneuverability. Equipped with stainless steel front risers, aiming is also facilitated and an optional action cam support can be mounted allowing very spectacular video shots when hunting in the blue.

Since 2020, HYPERION has evolved into HYPERION Neo, which features an individual opening for each rubber band. The elongation of each band from the anchoring point to the tab is thus identical, at 130cm. Moreover, and this is a notable improvement compared to HYPERION, the rubber bands, once loaded, are perfectly distributed without overlapping, which facilitates aiming and maneuvering of the weapon. Finally, the mechanism is an inverted Ermes model with bearings, which prevents the risk of galling likely to appear under heavy loads. Note that HYPERION can be advantageously equipped with the XL reel with vertical axis.

HYPERION 130 NEO is thus indicated for large, deep and distant dentex and amberjack, but also pelagics such as king mackerel, tuna, barracuda and sailfish.
