Alpha: The new standard
The idea came from conversations with spearos who admitted that they could not afford spearguns at 600 €uros and saw themselves de facto excluded from the Teak Sea club.
So we decided to develop a cost efficient solution.
For this, we started from a well-known base, the X.
First of all, we simplified several elements, focusing on two lengths to cover most spearos’ needs.
Then we allowed the speargun to be purchased without rubber bands or reels, since many hunters like to mount and put on their own rubber bands and often already have operational reels.
Finally, this speargun is only offered for direct sale.
This resulted in ALPHA, new for 2022, a direct heir to the X, Pal and Azimuth, whose famous stainless steel trigger mechanism it uses. The entry price with shaft is around €350 including tax plus shipping, which makes it a particularly competitive product.
This development also echoes the redesign of the X, Pal and Azimuth ranges with reverse trigger mechanism (X Neo, Pal Neo and Azimuth Neo), and a reduction in the number of models.
Entirely in teak, Alpha is robust and elegant. The shaft protrudes well from the barrel which facilitates aiming. It is easy to attach any reel to the speargun, which is balanced with its standard set-up.
In the right hands, Alphas are very effective.
ALPHA 90 is excellent for spearfishing in shallow water, winter and summer, for sea bream, gilthead, mullet and bass.
ALPHA 110 allows you to tackle good summer catches up to 3 or even 4m from the tip of the shaft, depending on the set-up: Gilthead, dentex, amberjack, groupers…
ALPHA is available in 90 and 110 only for direct sale, and in the European Union. It is guaranteed for 3 years.
